Excuses

I am not sure what my major malfunction is. I want to post but I do not. I love to read all of yours though. For some reason my computer shuts down if I comment on many of you. The only 2 blogs that I can still comment at are Molly and Frema. I tried to comment on Molly D's and no go. I asked Joe to check it out for me and one day he may. He says my computer is just plain old and is about to hang it up. Today my son Billy turned 30. Wow, it seems like just a few yrs ago but not 30. He was my first homebirth. He was born in Calif. Midwives were still kinda underground back then. Even though I have lost one baby at 4 months pregnant and had my little boy die when he was 2 weeks old I felt like homebirth was the way to go. As it turned out all my births were easy and except for me always having a bleeding problem after, I was good to go. Both my boys were born in my bed and my 3 girls were at the hospital. Hospitals are better about birthing now and I would not mind at all giving birth there. No more enemas and shaving.UGH! I have a habit of tearing off my clothes during labor so I have no good pics to share. Speaking of tearing off my clothes, if the hotflashes keep on as they have been I will be begging my DR to put me back on hormones. It's pretty terrible. I have kept a record for 2 weeks. Some are so bad I find myself standing by the bed ripping off socks and shirts while I am still asleep.I wake to find I am covered in sweat. Then 5 minutes later I am freezing again. Back on go my clothes. And so it goes all night. They are lasting as long as 6 minutes and some are like labor pains. They just keep coming. I was not prepared for this. I have taken black cohosh. It used to really help. I finally just got up and left church last Sunday. Too many and too strong. When they make me breathe hard enough that people turn to see what the heck I am doing ,it's time to split. Hotflashes are the one good thing about having a house that is always cold. I have taken so many cute pictures of my grandkids to share with you and I feel sad that I have not put any on here.
Oh, Cady is doing fine. She is now 12 weeks. She is getting her GED. She is also getting her job back soon. Too much morning sickness to make it to school. She has done her testing to see what classes she needs. Sara has decided to go to beauty school with her best friend. Madison goes to preschool 3 days a week now and is very happy. I am so happy that Sara has found something she wants to do. I am going to have to help a bit. I will find out next month if I can wait a whole year for chemo to begin. That will work out fine. Sara will be in school for 1 yr. I am feeling pretty good aside from the hotflashes. I am always sleepy but I am getting used to it. You would thing I would have more to say after all this time. If not more at least better quality. Sorry. Gonna find a few pics. Hope to be back sooner next time.

pictures here are 2 or 3 birthdays and new years and Seths art show. Also Seth learning to ride his motorcycle. he will be racing next month. he's so damn cute.

The only connection I make on why you'd be able to comment at Bree and my sites would be because we use typepad for our hosting. Maybe your computer is having some sort of cookie issue with blogger? (Although you use blogger and it's working for you, obviously, so forget everything I said. I'm not one to talk computer, haha.)

The kids are so cute, and Seth's motorcycle gear is impressive!

Have you caught any of the recent Oprah shows on all the hot flashes and menopause stuff? I haven't seen too much of them, but I know lots of women have been raving about the plethora of information there.

Glad everything is going pretty well for you and your family.
